The client's vision was to create a family home that not only captures the essence of a traditional British farm but also reflects their cultural heritage. The end result is a stunning home that successfully blends both cultures into a seamless, cohesive whole. It boasts a range of special features that sets it apart from other homes.
The house is fitted with a ground source heat pump that provides renewable energy for heating, domestic hot water, and the swimming pool. It also features an underground car park with 24 parking spaces, a private gymnasium, sauna, steam room, and billiards room. The use of a steel frame building construction adds to the open feel of the home, providing an uninterrupted view throughout.
Our team left no stone unturned in sourcing the perfect materials for this project. We meticulously detailed and quantified each piece of stonework sourced from a quarry in India, which required several trips with the client to ensure that all requirements were met. Additionally, the hardwood used for internal frames, doors, and skirting was imported from Indonesia after multiple visits to handpick a manufacturer that could produce our exacting standards.
