How we Work | Residential Architecture & Planning

At Studio FRI, we understand each client has their own individual requirements and that no 2 projects are ever the same. Before a project starts and we enter into an agreement, we offer an initial 30 min free consultation so that both parties can get to know each other, discuss the project and talk about how to move forward with the project.

All projects start off with a site visit and meeting where we can discuss the brief and project further. Most residential projects will need a measured survey, and this will be carried out by our team. 

Once the measured survey has been carried out and we have agreed a scope of works, the survey will be drawn up in 3D. The measured survey drawings are what you call "as existing drawings". From the existing drawings we will then work up the proposed drawings ready for planning if needed. Once a full set of drawings have been produced they can then be sent out for construction cost estimates. 

Once planning has been passed  construction work can begin on your project. We will liaise with the builders, structural engineers etc until the project has been completed.
